The tasks

Spryng is looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive and ambitious sales employee to join our DACH sales team. As a Business developer you work closely with the Country Manager of the DACH region and your focus is on increasing and expanding the German-speaking customer base. That is why we prefer to see you on the phone a lot because your agenda is full of appointments with (potential) customers. So you look for leads, qualify them and determine the appropriate follow-up yourself. Establishing and maintaining customer relationships is your main focus, but you are also constantly looking for new ideas to tap into new segments. It is your job to understand where the customer's pain points are and to solve them where possible.

Working hours

You will be expected to work full time during regular office hours (9:00-17:00).

As an SMS supplier for the business market, we provide our services worldwide to companies and institutions in all conceivable sectors. Think of KLM, Coolblue, Erasmus MC and PostNL. With our SMS services, our customers can reach their customers easily and efficiently. Think, for example, of an SMS about what time your order will be delivered at home, an appointment reminder from your doctor or dentist, a login or verification code by SMS to log in securely or an SMS with a discount code from your favorite store. The use of SMS leads to process optimization in companies and to saving costs and/or time. Sometimes SMS even results in an increase in sales for companies. Spryng ensures that business SMS sending at organizations is safe and fast. Spryng has proudly become part of Commify since August 2021, which will certainly benefit our (international) market opportunities. Our international team is young (in spirit), close-knit and enterprising. A cultural fit is therefore at least as important to us as the right experience and knowledge.

Who are you?

  • You are ambitious, eager to learn and like to challenge yourself.
  • You like to help companies optimize their work processes and selling is in your blood.
  • You are commercially driven, don't mind calling at all and you have great persuasiveness.
  • At least 1 year of relevant sales experience in the German market is a plus, but a starter with the right mindset is also very welcome (work experience in a SaaS, digital or tech environment is a plus but certainly not a must. Affinity with software and technology is).
  • You speak and write German fluently.
  • Speaking Dutch is a pré, but fluency in English will do!
