Introduction

The heart of Closing the Loop's operations is its Supply Chain. CTL's unique network of waste collectors in Africa ensure that waste is removed from the environment in Africa, while creating economic opportunities on the ground. The Supply Chain Department manages this network. We are offering a unique position within this department. Your role will be very diverse and dynamic. It includes keeping up contact with the collection network, supporting ongoing supply chain operational, analyzing data from the supply chain, and managing reports needed for our compliance. The role will demand (and offer) a large amount of flexibility, as you will be expected to manage yourself to a large extent.

The tasks

Organize stock reporting & analyse results; Organize & document (virtual) meetings with the supply chain partners in Africa; Maintain supply chain documentation overview; Maintain supply chain software records; Develop and maintain supply chain efficiency reports; Support general export and logistic matters of waste shipments; Support the Compliance Officer with risk analysis and documentation; Support with ad hoc research (for example of waste regulations); Support CTL project management; Basic copy writing.

Working hours

You are expected to work full time. This will be during regular businesshours (09:00-17:00).

Who are you?

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, International Studies or another related field;
  • You want to learn to work independently in a growing scale-up;
  • You are a good communicator, especially across cultures;
  • You have excellent MS Excel skills;
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills in English, French would be an added bonus;
  • You have the eagerness to learn something new every day;
  • You are an independent and organized worker, good at setting priorities;
  • You are ambitious;
  • You are precise and quality-driven;
  • You have an analytical mind.
